Vote Sussex for Britain’s Favourite Food Spot

Vote Sussex for Britain’s Favourite Food Spot
The Brighton & Hove Food and Drink Festival team work year-round to create fun and engaging events to promote local food production, retail and restaurants. This year alone, we’re bringing a total of 44 days of foodie events across April and September/October, plus we’ve supported many other food events including the weekly Churchill Square Farmers Market and the Saltdean Lido fundraiser.
But we know we’re not the only ones working hard to put Sussex on the plates of Britain. There are many other food festivals and events, plus hundreds of great producers and growers from vineyards to cheese, and great restaurants across the county, all of whom are determined to create great quality food and drink for everyone to enjoy.
This year’s festival coincides with the annual British Food Fortnight (17 September – 2 October), and the race is on to find out which British county is the foodies favourite. We’re pleased to say that as of today, Sussex has been voted #3 out of 42 in the public vote but we’ve got a lot of catching up to do beat our neighbours Hampshire (#2) and Lincolnshire (#1).
So if you enjoy the great produce of Sussex, and want to see it recognised on a national platform, then register your vote today (it only takes a couple of clicks, so it really is a piece of cake!).
