Strictly Come Dancing’s Darren & Lilia at Mexican Independence Day

Following the success of last year’s event, Jubilee Square will once again be transformed with Discovery Food stalls, Mexican flags, balloons and fun for the whole family, as part of the food festival’s Big Sussex Market and Live Food Show weekend on Satuday 10 – Sunday 11 September 2011.

Discovery will be offering a delicious array of dishes, from the perfect fajita – succulent chicken or vegetables wrapped in a soft flour tortilla, topped with guacamole, salsa and soured cream, to tasty beef tacos garnished with a variety of mouth watering toppings.  Entry to Discovery Mexican Independence Day is FREE and there will be an abundance of entertainment and activities.  For those of you with itchy feet, Strictly Come Dancing stars, Darren and Lilia will be hosting a group salsa lesson at 11.15am on Saturday.

Timings for Saturday, 10th September in Brighton’s Jubilee Square:

10am – photocall with regional and potentially national press at 10am (tbc)

11am – Darren & Lilia to showcase a dance

11.15 – Children salsa dance lesson

11.30 – mix & mingle session

12.00 – Darren & Lilia to showcase a dance

12.15 – Adult salsa dance lesson

12.30 – 1pm – mix & mingle session
